Hey!

As far as I know its not only my problem - at the begining of every single game I lose connection to the server and my UT crashes. after I launch game back I go to my favs and refresh - the server is still unavailable with 9999 ping. I have to wait few secs, refresh 3-5 times, then it is back with normal ping.

Also, during the game sometimes (often, once a game at least) I see red network icon in UT and experience horrible lag.

this is not my connection/pc or anything my side, as I know many ppl also experience this problem, plus it never happens on different servers.

I am not 100% sure, but I think lags 'in game' might be related to someone new joining (as well as the super-lag at the start, when everyone joins).

Are you aware of this problem?

i guess it needs a quick reboot it may helps.

I got the slight lag sometimes.

well i have played 1 match there is no lag mid game but there is only one problem which is a big delay and lag in the game start, i believe one of the Mutators is responsible about this problem, i'll try to sort it out to night i hope

the problem should be solved successfully for now, please inform me if there is anymore problems.

I've just checked. there were 3 ppl on the server, including me.
there were still red network icon at the beginning of the game, which means connection problems. after few seconds it came back to normal (ping like ~50 under F1) without crashing my UT.

so you either minimized the problem a little bit, or it was just because of the fact that server was not that crowded as usual.

I will tell you more tomorrow when there will be more players.

Starnge... i just been there now with 3 players the red icon was not there in the match start. maybe it appears when there is more players.

i'll keep an eye on the server and see how it's going also let me know how it's going for you from time to other in the server

Sorry, I havent played much recently, but came by tonight and everything was OK :-)

what have you done to solve the problem?

The problem was in one of the server mutators which records everything about the players. it datebase was so big so it caused lag.

i took backup and reduced the amount of information which it going to record =)

The problem was not clear to be honest, we will see the next days how is the server doing. hope it stay smooth

lag at the beginning is back, it's not long enough to make disconnect, but red network icon appears at the beggining of every game... :-(

weird looks like it sometimes happen and sometimes not... was fine in the morning
well i am going to remove this mutator to night after everyone leave then we will see what going to happen =)

I'll post again once i remove it.

i think as it gathers more and more data server becomes more and more laggy.

BTW: there is also some kind of team balancing mutator, which is kinda useless on one-map-deathmatch server :-)

yeah you are right, i noticed this since it started to lag.

Basically it's useless in dm servers because it's not a team game to balance it, however we have another use for ATB in that server so it's needed. =)

Done the changes, the server should be more stable at game start after the new changes, i hope it's solved

Also please let us know if this problem come back again =)

I havent been playing much DMs recently (TDM are much more fun ). Ive been there now for a while ant there is still a little lag at the beginning (red network icon) but then it goes to normal ~60ms and keeps that way all the game.

The weird thing when i play there i don't see it anymore but you still have it.. i'll search more about this problem maybe i find something..

it's getting worse.
a while ago with ~6 players the lag was there even after the game started, for like 5secs.
it seemed like everyone had the lag, as i and a 2nd guy were near the armor and none of us could take the armor for 5 secs!

weird... i'll look into it again tonight

I've done changes yesterday removed everything may cause this problem... Hope it's better today

yep it was lagging 1 or 2 weeks ago but not anymore

lag problem seems to be gone (along with most-wanted: top players rank mod), but "score restoring" problem is back.
right now a cheater named . is using this 'feature' :-)
